HISTORY
Jacob Hansen has been a freelance engineer/producer since 1990. Some of the first recordings were made on 4-track cassette machines! The recordings were getting more and more serious and Jacob produced most of the local metal bands' repertoire on better rented equipment. And things started to expand. The rumor about this guy in Esbjerg spread, and soon bands would be either traveling or getting Jacob to twiddle the knobs at another studios. He's worked in numerous studios a.o.: Borsing Recording, El-Sound, Take One, Los Angered, Lundgaard, AMP etc. The musical background of Jacob Hansen goes back to 1985, where he at an age of 15, started to jam with a friend. This was later to become the heavy metal band Invocator. A band which was active until 1995. The band was recently, after 7 years of absence from "the scene", re-started with new members. Main instrument is guitars, but he plays the bass + drums as well. In fact Jacob recorded the drums on the death metal album of project-band Maceration, which also featured Dan Swanö on vocals.
